These messages are NOT LEGITIMATE and do not contain any Proposal Offers.
We urge all members, partners, and stakeholders to stay alert and follow these guidelines:
How to Spot a Scam Email: • Requests for gift cards or urgent financial help or business proposals • Suspicious sender email addresses (e.g., Gmail/Yahoo accounts) • Unusual tone or grammar • Pressure to act quickly or confidentially What to Do if You Receive One: • Do not respond or click any links • Do not purchase or send anything requested • Report the email to your It/Cyber Security team

Burlington Chamber of Commerce announces its 2025 Business Excellence Award winners at sold-out gala!
BURLINGTON, Ont., May 15, 2025 — The Burlington Chamber of Commerce hosted over 500 business professionals and community leaders last night for its highly anticipated 2025 Business Excellence Awards Gala, presented by RBC. Held at the Burlington Convention Centre, the event recognized the outstanding achievements of local businesses and entrepreneurs who are driving growth and positive change in Burlington.
The evening honoured excellence across eight award categories, spotlighting businesses that exemplify leadership, innovation, and meaningful community impact. In addition to the Chamber awards, the gala also featured the presentation of the Mayor’s Award and four Burlington Economic Development + Tourism Awards.
“This year’s finalists and winners are a true reflection of the strength and diversity of Burlington’s business community,” says Terry Caddo, President and CEO of the Burlington Chamber of Commerce. “We’re proud to honour the organizations that continue to lead with purpose and vision, shaping Burlington’s economic and social future.”
62 finalists were first announced in February, following the nomination process. Winners were selected by the Chamber’s Business Awards Task Force (BATF), a panel of experienced professionals who evaluated nominees against a careful set of criteria, which included business leadership, innovation, employee welfare, community involvement, sustainability, and market performance.

Congratulations to the winners of the Burlington Chamber of Commerce 2024 Business Excellence Awards!
The Burlington Chamber of Commerce hosted its annual 2024 Business Excellence Awards Gala, presented by RBC, at the Burlington Convention Centre on May 21, 2024. Over 450 members of Burlington’s business community attended to celebrate the achievements of all finalists and winners.
“We are very happy to see such a great turnout to support business excellence in our Burlington community,” said Terry Caddo, President and CEO of the Burlington Chamber of Commerce. “A big thank you once again, to all of our sponsors. We are grateful for your continuous support of the Burlington Chamber.”
The Chamber named 37 finalists across nine categories in February. After nearly four months of deliberation by the Business Awards Task Force (BATF), the winners of the nine Awards of Excellence were announced at the gala. The BATF chose winners based on the following considerations: Excellence in business leadership, community contributions, entrepreneurship, environment, employee welfare, innovation, and market growth.

Congratulations to the winners of the Burlington Chamber of Commerce 2023 Business Excellence Awards!
The Burlington Chamber of Commerce hosted its 2023 Business Excellence Awards, presented by RBC, on May 23, 2023, recognizing leadership and distinction within the community. More than 400 attendees joined us to celebrate the finalists and winners of our 2023 Business Excellence Awards.

This year, the Business Awards Task Force was tasked with the challenge of presenting nine Awards of Excellence. The Chamber named 24 local organizations as finalists of awards in a variety of categories.
