POSTPONED until a later date.
Due to the recent Provincial update in response to COVID-19 moving Halton Region into the Red – Control zone, we are sad to announce that we will be postponing our 2020 Distinguished Entrepreneur Event, originally scheduled for November 26th.
Honouring Kenna Danyliw and her accomplishments in her industry and our community is of utmost importance to the Burlington Chamber of Commerce and deserves the attention of the entire business community. In order to do proper justice to the profile of this award and our 2020 Recipient, this event will be reimagined in late Spring 2021 and will dovetail this celebration with our prestigious Business Excellence Awards Gala. Further details will be announced in 2021.
Kenna is the President / CEO and founding partner of Danyliw & Mann, a boutique firm that specializes in providing business management, tax and accounting services to the music industry. The business started 15 years ago in the spare bedroom of her family’s home while she had two young daughters, a stepson and one very supportive husband.

(Toronto, March 21, 2020) – Rocco Rossi, President & CEO, Ontario Chamber of Commerce released the following statement in reaction to the Government of Ontario’s launch of a new procurement portal, Ontario Together, that will help businesses and their employees work with the province to meet the challenges of COVID-19.
“All businesses across the province and country must shift their focus to the singular cause of slowing the pace of the transmission of the virus. The Government of Ontario’s new procurement portal is critical as it will remove barriers and speed up the process for the government to procure required goods and services and share creative solutions.
“Several of our members have already stepped up and offered to help support on-going public health efforts.
“I echo the Premier in stating extraordinary times call for extraordinary efforts. It is critical that we work collectively to identify the province’s supply challenges and solicit ideas and advice from Ontario’s business and manufacturing communities on how we can work together with government to meet the need.
“Public health and safety are priorities for us all. We applaud the Government of Ontario’s on-going leadership throughout the COVID-19 crisis.”
