Curling Bonspiel

2013 CURLING BONSPIEL

After the overwhelming success of the sold out 2012 Curling Bonspiel, plans are already underway for a follow-up event in 2013.  Our bonspiel is a great way to beat the winter blues and network all at the same time. No curling experience is required since the club pro will give lessons before the game begins.  And, we'll be holding the ever-popular trivia contest during lunch once again.  You can enter the bonspiel as a team or as a single.  This event sells out early every year so don't miss your chance this year.  Book early.  This year's bonspiel is being held at the beautifully rebuilt Burlington Golf & Country Club.  There are plenty of sponsorship opportunities available.  For details, This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. 2012 CURLING BONSPIEL

The 2012 Burlington Chamber of Commerce Curling Bonspiel was a tremendous, sold-out success with many curlers telling us it was our best bonspiel ever.  On February 25, forty-eight Chamber members gathered at the Burlington Golf & Country Club for a great day of curling, trivia, food, networking and fun.  The event was sold out months in advance and it is no surprise why.  The program for the day included breakfast and practice with the club pro followed by the first six-end game.  Lunch was followed by the very popular trivia contest (do you know which is the longest river in Canada?) and the afternoon saw the second six-end game followed by prizes and networking.  The Chamber bonspiel caters to curlers and non-curlers alike and this was evident in the number of participants who took part in the practice session.   In addition to breakfast, lunch, the trivia contest and curling, every player went home with a prize and a terrific registration gift.  Click here for more curling photos and photos of other Chamber events.
