2013 BURLINGTON BUSINESS AWARDS GALA

The 2013 Chamber of Commerce Burlington Business Awards Gala was was a great success with plenty of surprises and a very happy crowd.  Over 425 people attended this year's event held on April 11 at the Burlington Convention Centre.  They were not disappointed and several have called this the best gala ever. The evening started with a special VIP champagne reception for award finalsits, winners, sponsors and other VIPs.  The was followed by a cocktail reception for all guests.  After a terrific dinner the awards presentation began.  Chamber President, Keith Hoey, MCd the event with award presentations made by Mayor Rick Goldring, John Chisholm of BEDC, Gord Langford of Tourism Burlington, and Shelley McQuade of the Chamber of Commerce.  The highlight of the gala each year is the videos of the award finalists and winners adn this years videos proved to be very exciting and entertaining.  This will be available on the Chamber's YouTube channel shortly.
