PAST CHAIR'S GOLF TOURNAMENT
The
2010 Burlington Chamber of Commerce Past Chair's Golf
Tournament was played on June 24 at the
Hidden Lake
Golf Club.
This course presents a challenge for experienced golfers but is
forgiving for novices. The scramble format ensured all golfers had
fun and contributed to their team score. All golfers received a
great registration gift, lunch, dinner, cart and a fun round of golf.
There were several specialty holes which yielded prizes to
the most skilled golfers and the beat-the-pro contest netted $600 to the
Chamber's
Business Student Scholarship Endowment Fund.
The tournament was sold out weeks in advance and this year the weather
cooperated and everyone had a great time. The
event was completed in near-record time and final remarks concluded
shortly after 8:00.
