2007
SMALL BUSINESS CHRISTMAS PARTY
The
Chamber’s seventh annual Small Business Christmas Party was
an outstanding, sold-out success. Like last year, the party was
sold out more than a month in advance. The evening included a great steak
and lobster dinner, first-rate entertainment and an awesome
festive atmosphere. A special balloon-pop
raised over $1,400 for Woodview Children's Centre as guests popped a balloon to see which prize
they would take home. After dinner the dance floor
was filled late into the night. DJ Superstars provided the popular
entertainment and the fun and games ensured a good time was had by all.
This
event, launched in 2000, was created so that small- to medium-sized
companies could have an easy solution to the challenge of hosting a
company Christmas party. The
party creates a tremendous atmosphere with hundreds of people enjoying a
festive holiday event with other local businesses.
Special thanks to the 2007
Christmas Party Task Force for all their hard work and for making
this a truly spectacular event: Cheryl
Stephenson (Chair),
Jacqui Cronin, Shirlea Crook, Fatima Gadoury, Don Patterson, and
Adel Szakacs.
