The Members In The News
Ø Chamber member
Horne LLP was a major contributor to the Burlington
Chapter of the Canadian Cancer Society's Relay For Life fundraiser on June
1. In the relay, each team has a member on the track at all
times. Horne LLP was proud to have three teams participating in the
event and raised a total of $42,000 for CCS.
Ø Chamber member Standard
Paint and Wallpaper is celebrating 100 years in business
this year! The current store has been in the Newton family
since 1931 when Doug Newton Sr. purchased the business as a young
entrepreneur. Pat Garrett and her brother Jim Newton currently carry
on the quality tradition of honesty, integrity, and knowledge to
their customers as well as having branched out to becoming not only a
paint store but a design centre. The Chamber congratulates their
success!
