StatsCan Releases Aging Report
This week, Statistics Canada released a report giving a detailed analysis of how the nation's population age structure is changing.  The number of seniors (aged 65 and over) surpassed the four-million mark for the first time and the working age population (age 15 to 64) is becoming increasingly older.  Click here for more details.

Bank Of Canada Projections
In it's April Monetary Policy Report, the Bank of Canada projected that Canada's economy will grow by 2.2% in 2007, 2.7% in 2008 and 2009.  The Bank has since revised those projections to 2.5% in 2007, 2008 and 2009.  Both CPI and core inflation are expected to decline to 2% by early 2009.
