Cabinet Shuffle: Good But Not
Great
A recent survey of business leaders rates
the recent Harper cabinet shuffle as good but not great. Respondents
felt that the move of Peter MacKay to Defence is "inspired" and keeping
Jim Flaherty in Finance is a "strong decision". For all the details click here.
Provincial Candidates
Meeting
The provincial election is coming up
on October 10. In order to help you make an informed voting
decision, the Chamber will be
hosting a Provincial Candidates Meeting on October
3. Chamber candidate
meetings take the form of a
facilitated question and answer session. This event is FREE to members but you
must register in advance. The Chamber recently
